Birth and death dates from Missouri death certificate 30512. It shows her parents as Alonzo M. Coston (b. Catarangus Co., New York) and Ann Maria Hayes (b. Blandenville, Illinois). It lists her husband as Alfred C. Barber.

From the Skidmore Standard, Friday, October 7, 1904, page 1:
"A Pleasant Occasion
On Wednesday, October 5th at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Barber's, 3 1/2 miles west of e city occurred a very pleasant social affair, in the way of a family reunion.

Fifty guests were assembled from five different states, among whom were: Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Coston, of Ft. Morgon, Colorado; Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Coston of Wray, Colorado; Mr. W. M. Coston of Cleo, Oklahoma; Mrs. G. W. Zeller, of Marion, Kansas; Mrs. W. A. Walker, of Ames, Iowa, all formerly of Missouri, also Mr. J. T. Hays and Mrs. Dr. Morrison of Maryville and Miss Mary Martin, of Burlington Junction.

The day was spent in feasting and pleasant conversation, and Mr. H. H. Coston entertained the company with music from the gramophone.

The occasion was the meeting of the five Coston brothers, whose combined ages are 374 years. Photographer Ashbrook was summoned to take several views of the company."

Find A Grave Contributor Cindy Kenny reports that an obituary is available in the Skidmore News, Sept. 17, 1948. Because the obituary is still subject to copyright, it is not reproduced in its entirety here. The obituary lists Ann's date of marriage to Alfred C. Barber as December 22, 1876 and says that she was survived by five daughters and three sons: Mrs. C. C. Knepper and Mrs. Halfred Botkin of Skidmore, mrs. J. W. Zook of Kansas City, Mrs. Cecil Brown of Wray, Colorado, John F. Barber of Smithville, Alonzo A. Barber of Burlington Junction, and Frank R. Barber of Vernon, Colorado.
