Excerpt – Died, at Horse Shoe Run, Preston County, W.Va., on May 17, 1891, of Inflammatory Rheumatism, Mrs. Elizabeth Wotring, wife of Daniel C. Wotring, aged 74 years 7 months and 14 days. The deceased was the mother of 10 children, 8 of whom survive her to mourn her loss. She and her aged husband had lived together for 57 years 6 months and 19 days. She joined the M. E. Church early in life and lived a consistent member until her death. Her remains were followed to her grave by a large concourse of family and friends. She leaves her husband who is 82 years old.
