Ernestine "Ernie" Caudle, 78, of Fort Smith, AR. entered into rest on Saturday, February 12, 2011 in Fort Smith, AR.
She was born January 28, 1933 in Mulberry, AR. the daughter of the late Dal and Bertha Shepherd. She was of the Assembly of God Faith and retired school bus driver from Fort Smith Schools after 23 years. She was preceded in death by her late husband Virgil Caudle, grandchild Zeb, three sisters Dolline Kimes, Lucille Hayes and Leota Nelson and brother Burl Shepherd. She is survived by one son Larry White and wife Rhonda of Paris, AR., one daughter Gail Erwin and husband Ray of Fort Smith, AR., one brother Billy Olen Shepherd and wife Donna of Mulberry, AR., four sisters Norma Greenwood of Mulberry, AR., Ina King of Fort Smith, AR., Betty Darter of Van Buren, AR. and Shirley Joy of Alma, AR., three grandchildren Chad White, Quinn Hoskyn and Brockette Minnick and three great-grandchildren Breanna White, Brendon Clark and Luci Minnick. Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, AR. No public viewing.
