Hindenburg survivor.

Born on the North Frisian island of Föhr.
Worked on the Hindenburg as a Navigator.
He was in the control car (with the other high ranking officers) when the Hindenburg exploded over Lakehurst, NJ.
Survived without a burn on him.
After surviving the Hindenburg, he worked on the LZ-130 (Graf Zeppelin II).
Fought in World War Two as a Captain for a German U-boat supply ship, that ship was sunk by the Russians and everyone survived the sinking.
