Elizabeth is one of three daughters of Otto and Etta Hillefeld. She never married, but took the name of her adopted family, BRAUN.
In 1927, Etta passed away and the next year, their father Otto died. The three girls, aged 12, 13 and 14, were taken care of by their aunt, Mrs. Mahnken until the children were adopted by the Braun family. In the care of the Brauns, the children prospered, matured and had families of their own. Henrietta Emma married Mr. Cleghorn of Salt Lake city, Utah, and Marie L. married Mr. Hegarty of San Francisco. I have not found any evidence she ever married.-2/25/17
