Note: According to at least one family tree on Ancestry.com the parents were "Henery Peyton Nott" and "Margaret Elizabeth Hiler Nott". Not sure if "Henery" is correct or should be "Henry". Needs clarification, so use with caution. Their burial location isn't yet known to this contributor, so direct links to them isn't possible yet.

Married first to David Knauss. Two of their young children, Jessie and Jackson, accidently drowned while swimming. They and their father David Knauss are buried next to each other in Old Fairfield City Cemetery.

Rhoda then married Henry Bramer (a/k/a Heio Euken Bramer, married July 25, 1905 in Fairfield, Iowa).

Rhoda is buried in the same plot in Evergreen cemetery as her son Harry A. Knauss (1888-1963, born to David Knauss and Rhoda Nott Knauss/Bramer) and his wife and three of their children.

DEATH TAKES MRS. BRAMER AT HOME HERE

Lived in this community for over 54 years, born in New London

Mrs. H.H. BRAMER, 85, passed away at her home 603 S. Seventh street last evening about 6:30 p.m. after a lingering illness.

The funeral will be held at the Weston Behner Funeral Home Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. Services will be in charge of Rev. George Reichart and burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. BRAMER had lived in this community for over 54 years. Previous to that time she lived in Logan, Iowa. She was born March 31, 1856 in New London, Iowa.

Mrs. BRAMER is survived by her husband, Henry BRAMER, and one son, Harry KNAUSS of Fairfield. One sister, Laura GRANER of Ft. Madison also survives.

Three sons and one daughter preceded her in death.
