Ann and her family moved to East Greenwich, Rhode Island in 1867/1868. Ann was a respected resident of East Greenwich, Rhode Island where she lived with her family on Greene Street.

Her life was devoted to the raising of a large family of children. Many had words of praise for her many acts of kindness. She showed kindness to others in times of sickenss and trouble. Ann was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Church. It appears the family were active memebers of the church. In the entrance way of the new church, Ann's name is listed on a board recogizing individuals who have made donations to the church over the years.
