Sibyl Harris and William A. Frost, a widower with three young sons and a married daughter, were married in Shumway, Arizona, Oct 24, 1901.
Mr. Frost and his oldest son, Clarence, went to Monticello in May 1906. January 1909 is when her baby, Ralph, was born.
The two oldest sons married and left home. Clarence married Seraphine Smith from Snowflake, Arizona and Heber married Louie Wilson, daughter of Nicholas and Nettie Wilson.
William's youngest son, Wilford, was drafted in the army during World War I. When he returned, he married Theresa Lewis.
William died June 9, 1932 at the home of his son Heber Frost in Monticello and was buried there.
Sibyl and her 3 boys moved to Salt Lake where she remarried. She died and was buried in January 1956 in Salt Lake City. William and Sibyl were parents of one girl who died just after birth and four boys, two of whom preceded them in death.
Sibyl: "Seeing the need to preserve the relics and histories of the early pioneers of Monticello and San Juan County, I organized the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers on September 4, 1923. The first officers of the organization were: President, Sibyl H. Frost; First Vice President, Delia Perkins: Second Vice President, Inez Young; Recording Secretary, Ella Barton, Corresponding Secretary, Mary Evans; Treasurer, Maggie Anderson; Registrar, Alice Jones; Historian, Leah Adams; Chaplin, Lucinda Redd; Chorister, Cornelia Perkins."
