Obituary. John William Davies. Mountain Home, Duchesne County--
John William Davies, 92, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Rachel Rust, in Mountain Home Saturday at 3:30 p.m. of causes incident to age.
He was born in Old Fort Harmony, Utah, Jan 15, 1859, a son of John Reese and Patience Sybil Groves Davies. He married Sarah Ellen McInelly on Nov. 8, 1882 in the St. George Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She died Dec. 29, 1927.
Survivors include four sons and three daughters, Mrs. Mary E. Kenison, Salt Lake City; William Davies, Talmage; Mrs. Rust, James Wallace Davies, Shelley, Ida; David Davies, Utahn, Duchesne County; Mrs. Patience Larson, Duchesne and Franklin Davies, Springville; one brother, George Davies, Junction, Piute County; a sister, Mrs. Sybil Mendenhall, Salt Lake City, and another sister Olive, believed residing in Mesa, Ariz; 41 grandchildren and 96 great-grandchildren.
