Miss Dagmar Fredrica Nelson 53, Passed away at her home three miles northwest of Brayton last night after an illness of more that two years. Death was due to a heart ailment. Miss Nelson was born Jan. 31, 1894, in Denmark, the daughter of Nels and Karen Nelson. She came to this country in 1905 and lived near Marne and in the Atlantic vicinity all of her life with the exception of five years spent in Des Moines. She had been keeping house for a number of years for her brothers, Harold and Thorwald Nelson, near Brayton. She was a member of the Christian Church. Survivors include four brothers: Lars ow Wiota, Walter of Kimballton and Thorwald and Harold of Brayton; one sister Mrs Elna Crisman of Anita; and three nieces and three nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Roland, Peacock & Baxter funeral home in Atlantic. A short service will be held at her lat home. Rev. H. G. Darling of Atlantic will officiate and interment will be in the Atlantic cemetery. The remains wil lie in state at the funeral home until Wednesday afternoon and then will be taken to the home to remain until the funeral hour.
