Sister Elise Bengfort, a Sister of Divine Providence in San Antonio, entered eternal life at the age of 81 on Easter Sunday, April 24, 2011.
She answered God's call to become a nun making her vows at 21 years of age.
She was one of the nine children of Joseph Henry Bengfort and Clara Elizabeth Hermes.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Joseph, Leonard and Wilfred; and sisters Marie Zimmerer, Catherine Stoffels and Dorothy Bengfort.
