Marie was born to Joe and Elizabeth Hermes Bengfort. She worked as a cook and manager at Lindsay I.S.D. for many years. She was an active member of St. Peter's Parish, St. Anne's Society, AARP Chapter of Gainesville and participated in all kinds of activities.
Marie is survived by her 3 sons and daughters-in-laws, 7 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Betty, Stella, Sister Elise Bengfort.
She passed away at the Renaissance Care Center in Gainesville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Norbert Zimmerer; her brothers, Leonard, Wilfred and Joseph Bengfort and her sisters, Catherine Stoffels and Dorothy Bengfort.
