T.B. (Tuck) Alberty, age 90, one of the pioneer citizens of this section, died in his sleep Saturday morning while visiting at the home of his son, Albert Alberty, at Drumright, Okla. Mr. Alberty was in apparently good health Saturday morning and lay down to take a nap just before noon and died in his sleep.
He is one of the last members of the older Alberty family who were prominent citizens of this section in the territory and early statehood days. The body was brought here Monday where the funeral was held at the Methodist church and burial made in the family lot in the Alberty Chapel cemetery. Mr. Alberty leaves a number of relatives and a large host of friends to mourn his death.
