Funeral Services for Jimbo Leslie, 60, of Marthaville, LA, were Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Crossroads Baptist Church, Marthaville, LA. Revs. Tony Langton, Glenn Howard, David Free and Bro. Benny Alford officiated. Burial followed in the Ajax Cemetery, Ajax, LA.

Jimbo was born on Sunday, May 20, 1951 in Many, LA. He passed away on Friday, December 23, 2011 at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches,LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Daniel Leslie and Wilma Lucille Chandler Leslie and one brother, Billy Leslie.

Jimbo was a dedicated member and active choir member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Marthaville, LA. He was retired from the Department of Corrections where he was the Prisoner Enterprise Director. He was also a graduate of McNeese State University where he was an active alumni and he was also a member of the McNeese rodeo team.

He is survived by his wife of Marthaville, LA; one son of New York, NY; one brother and wife of Negreet, LA; five neices; four nephews; mother-in-law; mother of his child and dear friend; Jim's little "sweet hearts", along with a host of friends.
