BACKUS -- Esther Bartholomew, 95, Backus, died Saturday, Oct. 14, 2000, at Whispering Pines Good Samaritan Center of Pine River.
She was born Feb. 12, 1905, in Nimrod, to Marvin and Ada Perkins.
Survivors include a son, James Bartholomew; two daughters, Pat Bartholomew and Barbara Ulmer; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Earl "Ole" Perkins; and a sister, Tressie Zeller.
Her husband, Donald, a granddaughter, a sister and five brothers died earlier.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lakeside Baptist Church of Backus with Pastor Jeffrey Brook officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery of Backus. Friends may call an hour before services Wednesday at the church. Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home of Pine River.
