Grandma Dane died between 1910 and 1911. I believe she is buried beside her husband, Hamilton Clark Parker, in her family's cemetery. If so, her grave is marked only with a field stone.

She and Grandpa were married only about 7 years before he died in the War of Northern Aggression leaving her with 5 children to rear alone.

What a rough life she must have lead in our rural area of North Carolina, but what a legacy she left.
