Mildred E. Dymond Arthur, 95, formally of RR2, Meshoppen (Black Walnut), passed away Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 6, 2011, at the Golden Living Center in Tunkhannock.
Mildred was born on Mar. 17, 1916, in Centermoreland. She was the daughter of the late Bill and Helen Dymond.
Mildred is survived by three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and her son-in-law Mario Maggio, of Bridgewater, N.J.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul M. Arthur who passed away Mar. 28, 1992; her son Paul L. Arthur who passed away Aug. 21, 1987; her daughter, Helen Maggio who passed away in Feb. 2011; her brother Bob; and sisters Hazel, Marion, and Dorothy.
A graveside service will be held today, Wednesday, Dec. 14, at 1 p.m. in the Lacey Street Cemetery, Laceyville, with Rev. Dorothy (Dolly) Tarreto of the Skinners Eddy United Methodist Church officiating.
Arrangements were made through Sheldon Funeral Homes, Main St., Laceyville.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice .
