Glen R. Dymond of Tunkhannock died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, in the Allied Skilled Nursing Center in Scranton. He was born in Thurston Hollow, Eaton Twp., on Jan. 14, 1939, son of the late William and Mary White Dymond. Prior to his retirement, he worked for more than 41 years for D&K Lumber and Deer Park Lumber in Tunkhannock.
Glen was preceded in death by his wife Carol Barber Dymond; his brother Floyd W. Dymond; and sister Dorothy Rezykowski. Surviving is a brother Fred and his wife Betty Dymond of Tunkhannock; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 26, at 11 a.m. from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, with Pastor Rick Womer, Pastor of the Tunkhannock Assembly of God Church. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery.
