Albertina married Otto 11 November 1880 in Oak Park, Illinois.

Funeral of Mrs. Otto Geske

As announced in our last issue, Mrs. Otto Geske died suddenly at her home on Marquette avenue, Thursday, September 4th. She was buried from the Methodist Church of this city Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock and her remains were interred in the local cemetery. A very large circle of relatives and friends assembled for the occasion. Among the relatives from out of the city were her two sisters, Mrs. August Herang with her daughter, Mrs. John J. Fohr, both of Caledonia, Wis., and Mrs. Minnie Sadler, of Milwaukee, Wis.
Mrs. Otto Geske was born in Germany near Berlin October 9th, 1857. Her maiden name was Albertine Neihouse. At the age of fourteen years she came to America with her parents and settled at Caledonia, Wisconsin. Here she lived until her marriage to Otto Geske, November 11, 1880, in Chicago.
In the early part of June, 1883, Mr. and Mrs. Geske moved to Crystal Falls, where they have since remained as among our most industrious and respected citizens.
Mrs. Geske was a kind and loving mother and had always a cheery word for those who knew and met her. She was ever among the first to minister to the sick and needy among her neighbors. Of he own immediate relatives a husband, three sons, five sisters and a brother survive her.
She was a Mystic Worker. A large number from this order, as well as from the order of Knights of Pythias to which belong her three sons, were present at the services to pay their tribute.
The floral offerings were both extensive and beautiful, indicating the sincere homage of friends and loved ones. Though with us no more in the living body, Mrs. Geske will yet ever live in the hearts of this multitude of friends.
