Obituray, Waldman –
Rose Bieck, daughter of Michael F. and Amelia Bieck, was born near Harvard Nebraska, on Nov. 26, 1891, and passed away at the Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in Hastings, Nebraska on Dec. 11, 1961.
She was baptized and confirmed in the Evengelical Church, which became the United Church of Harvard, where she was an active member.
Rose was educated in the Harvard Public Schools and on May 26, 1920, she was united in marriage to Edward J. Waldman in the Evangelical Church.
She is survived by her husband, Edward J. Waldman, her sister, Mrs. Anna B. Tickler of Hastings, Nebraska, her sister-in-law, Mrs. Edward Hickey of Hastings, Nebraska, and two nephews, Richard B. Tickler of Coral Gables, Flordia, and Donald K. Tickler of Meade, Kansas.
A few lines from Long-fellows Resignation:

Now the battle day is past
Now upon the farther shore
Lands the voyager at last!
Father, in Thy gracious keeping,
Leave we now, Thy servant sleeping."
Funeral services, conducted by Rev. E. A. Katterhenry, were held at the United Church in Harvard, on December 14, 1961.
Mrs. W. H. Wost and Mrs. Maude Whitlock, sang accompanied by Mrs. Lee Voorhees.
Pall bearers were August Kloke, Paul Schuman, Wilbur Farrall, Alvin Hactel, Harry Frank, and Kenneth Keasling.
Burial was in the Harvard Cemetery.

Mrs. Waldman's Funeral Thursday
HARVARD (TNS) – Funeral services for Mrs. Edward J. Waldman, 70, who died Monday in Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in Hastings, will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the United Church of Harvard.
Mrs. Waldman was born in Harvard and lived her entire life in the community. She was a member of the United Church.
Survivors include her husband, Edward, and a sister, Mrs. Anna B. Pickler of Hastings.
