MRS. AMELIA BIECK
Amelia Woelflinger Bieck, daughter of George and Sophia Woelflinger, was born near Fort Atkinson, Wis., June 12, 1872, and passed away at the Mary Lanning Memorial hospital in Hastings, Nebr., June 14, 1957, having attained the age of almost 85 years.
She came to Harvard with her parents at the age of four years, was confirmed in the First Evangelical Church and remained a member of that church until it became part of the United Church of Harvard.
On November 28, 1889, she was united in marriage with Michael F. Bieck, residing on a farm until coming to Harvard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, and a daughter, Irene Elizabeth.
Mrs. Traut has lived with Mrs. Bieck since her husband's death on April 24, 1935.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Rose Waldman, and Mrs. Anna Tickler; two grandsons, three great-grandchildren and her brother, Carl Woelflinger.
Funeral services, conducted by Rev. E. A. Katterhenry were held at the United Church in Harvard June 17, 1957. Mrs. Verneta Hohnstein and Mrs. Arlene Glantz sang "Abide With Me." Mrs. Lee Voorhees was organist.
Pallbearers were August Kloke, Kenneth Keasling, Edward Woelflinger, Carl Stiegemeier, Kenneth Bieck, Howard Bieck.
Burial was in the Harvard cemetery.
