Maxine Elizabeth Case, 88 formerly of Arkansas City died Friday, December 16, 2011 in Roy, UT.

Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at the Parker Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Maxine was born May 29, 1923 to William Howard Barton and Edith Fern (McFarland) Barton in Winfield, Kansas. On June 1, 1941 she married F. Melvin Case and he preceded her in death in November 2002. Maxine was a homemaker.

She is survived by her son, Freddie Case and wife, Virginia; daughter, Charlene Edmonson; brother, Elmo Barton; brother and sister in laws, Lawrence Case and wife, Arlene, and Robert Case; five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the Heritage Park Nursing Home staff for their unconditional care during her time with them.
