Lena M. Steiger
Lena Mays Steiger, 86, of 247 -' Maple Ave., died at 8 p.m. 'Friday at NHE Friendship House after a long illness.
Mrs. Steiger lived here almost 50 years. She was born in Lexington March 28, 1892. She was the widow of J.J. Steiger. She was a Presbyterian.
Surviving Mrs. Steiger are two daughters, Mrs. Walter (Margaret) Yeider of Yountsville, Calif., and Mrs. Harold W. (Ann) Rice of Dunedin, Fla.; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be conducted by the Rev. Gordon Winsor assisted by the Rev. G. Douglas Slagle at 2 p.m. Tuesday at The Presbyterian Church.
Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. Friends may call at Stith Funeral Home after 11 a.m. Monday.

Funeral for Mrs. Lena Mays Steiger, 86, of 247 Maple Ave., who died Friday night, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Jack Ritter, Bill Dishman, Willis Hankla. Robert Tarkington, Charles T. Hazelrigg, John and Bill Rice. Herrod Chitterson, Robert and George Mistier will be honorary pallbearers.
Friends may call at Stith Funeral Home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form on donations to the Presbyterian Church Building Fund.
