Mrs. Belle Davis, 75, wife of Frederick Davis, died Saturday at her home in Kochville Township. Belle Dupraw was born August 24, 1864, in Kochville township, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Dupraw, pioneer residents of that township. She was married Sept. 17, 1884, to Mr. Davis and they made their home on the farm where Mr. Davis was born, adjacent to Mrs. Davis' childhood home. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1934. She was a member of the Free Evangelical church of Bay City and took an active interest in its affairs. She leaves her husband and one daughter, Mrs. Alfred Bourdow of Flint, three grandchildren, Don, Marjory Belle and Dorothy Jane and one great-grandchild, Jacques, and a twin sister, Mrs. Riley L. Crane of Saginaw. The funeral will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the home. Rev. Peter Olson will officiate and burial will be in Oakwood.
