Virginia Alta Smith Bradford, 76, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away December 4, 1995 at the home of her brother, Larry and sister-in-law, Jean, who cared for her during her last years.
Born July 19, 1919 in Altona, Utah to Peter and Lilly Higley Rosenkrantz. Married Merlin Richard Smith in 1933. Later divorced. Married Roy L. Bradford. He preceded her in death February 14, 1984. Member of the LDS Church. She was a wonderful homemaker, her yard was a showplace. She loved golfing, bowling and traveling with her husband.Survived by son, Darrold Smith; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers, Violet Bringhurst; Reva Fish; Deeda Harris; Larry Van Detta; Grant Van Detta. Preceded in death by son, Richard Smith.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 9, 1995, 11 a.m. Crescent 29th Ward, 1050 East 10600 So., where friends may call one hour prior to services. Entombment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
