Services for James Vernon Eagan, 70, of Ruidoso, N. Mex., former Olney resident, were held Tuesday, April 22 in Sanders Memorial Chapel in Lubbock. Eagan was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J.J. Eagan, longtime residents.

Survivors include his wife; a son, J. Don of Lubbock; a daughter, Mrs. Ramona Foust of O'Donnell; six brothers, Hollis of Olney, Etheridge of Wichita, Kans., J. R. of Lubbock, Gilmer of Seattle, Wash., Eldridge of Santa Monica, Calif., G. C of Huntington Beach, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Recta Pope of Irving, Calif., and Mrs. Gwenell Johnson of Monahans; three grandchildren and two great
grandchildren.

Attending the services from Olney were Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Strealy, Mr. and Mrs.
Gene Evans and Mr. and Mrs. G. P. Groves.
