Samuel was the son of Capt. Samuel and Anna Endecott. He was christened at South Church in Danvers by Rev. Mr. Prescott June 9, 1717. On February 27, 1752 he married Mary Putnam. He and Mary lived their lives in Danvers. Samuel died at the age of 56 and was laid to rest in the family burying ground.
