She married William Christopher King on 1 Apr 1815 in Gloucester county, NJ at the age of 16. They immediately moved from New Jersey to Pyrmont, Perry township, Montgomery county, Ohio where they settled and raised their 10 children. Their first child Jesse was born in Pyrmont, Ohio.
The 1830 US Census has them living in Perry Township, Montgomery county, Ohio. Pyrmont is in Perry Township. The 1840 US Census also has them here.
The 1860 US census shows Mary and William living here with their 3 children George, Mariah and Sarah, and Sarah's husband Israel Johnson.
Mary's death date is yet unknown. One record indicates she was buried in the Pyrmont Cemetery but her headstone has not been found and the Pyrmont cemetery records before 1867 were destroyed in a fire. She may have died before or after her husband.
If she lived passed her husband, then in 1867 when her husband died, Mary would have been abt 69 years old, so it's quite possible she lived with a relative nearby until her own death. At that age there is little chance she married again as that would have entailed selling her household goods and moving away from where her husband, mother and sister were buried. I also noticed when I took the photo of her husband William's headstone that there was plenty of space on either side of it for other graves. It could be that her headstone is there but just fallen over and buried.
