Olive Aldridge Davis, 81, of Brobeck Road in Limestone, died Thursday morning at her home.

She was a housewife and a member of Morning Star Baptist Church.

Mrs. Davis was the daughter of the late John W. and Lillie Dixon Aldridge and the widow of Kenneth Davis.

Survivors include one daughter: Cheryl K. Nelson of Johnson City; five sons and three daughters-in-law: Hollis Ray and Myrtle Davis of Erwin, Lyons "Cowboy" Davis, and Samuel Mark and Brenda Davis, all of Limestone, Stormey Kyle and Judy Davis of Jonesborough, and Stoney Davis of Limestone; 11 grandchildren: Andy Nelson, Ray Nelson, Anna Curtis, Amy Benfield, Tammy Davis, Penny Harris, Carri Davis, Toney Davis, Kenny Davis, Jimmy Davis, and Jason Harkleroad; 10 great-grandchildren; 9 stepgreat-grandchildren; one brother: Curtis Aldridge of Morristown; several nieces and nephews; and special friends: Marilyn Davis and Dorothy Depriest.

She was preceded in death by two daughters: Vonetta Davis and Cliennes Davis; five brothers: Dwight Aldridge, Cecil Aldridge, Dewey Aldridge, Earl Aldridge, and Coolidge Aldridge; and three sisters: Beulah Aldridge, Viola Morgan, and Novella Marshall.

The body is at Kiser Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday preceding the funeral service at 8 o'clock.

The Rev. Ronnie Mitchell and the Rev. Otis Banks will officiate.

Family and friends are asked to meet at 1:45 Sunday afternoon at Morning Star Cemetery in Limestone for the 2 o'clock graveside service.

Pallbearers will be Toney Davis, Kenny Davis, Justin Benfield, Ray Nelson, Brandon Curtis, Matt Amos, and Allen Benfield.
