MT. AUBURN MAN
Mt Auburn April 10-The remains
of William Bloxam of this place who
died in Decatur Friday night at the
home of his daughter, Mrs. Clyde
Greer following and attack of influ-
enza were brought to the home of his
daughter, Mrs W. D. White here Sat-
urday afternoon and funeral serv-
ices were conducted from that place
at two oclock Sunday afternoon Rev.
J. F. Powers pastor of the Christian
church of Mt Auburn Officiating.
Deceased the son of Dr. and Mrs
Henry Bloxam, was born in Mt Auburn
and spent the greater part of his
life here. He was united in mar-
riage to Miss Sarah Dickerson, who
preceded him in death several years
ago. To this union were born
seven children: the following six survive
Mrs Helen Schloton, Springfield
Mrs Jesse Greer, Decatur Mrs DeEtta
White Mt Auburn Mrs Pearl Ward Illi
opolis Mrs Carrie Scott Watts Cal,
Mrs Bertha Beecher Kankakee
and Earl Bloxam Illiopolis. Also
the following Brothers and Sisters
survive Auther Bloxam Tayorville
Edward Bloxam Dwight Il Charles
Bloxam Wrights and Mrs Lucy Thaxton.
Burial was in the Mt Auburn cemetery.
