Richard Marsh Steiding 41, a native of Midland, Maryland, died in Morristown, Morris County, New Jersey.
"Marsh" was the fourth son of Marion Dixon (Peebles) and Earl Barnhardt Steiding.
Marsh graduated from the Class of 1938, Central High School,
Lonaconing, Maryland. He served in the US Army.
He attended Potomac Valley College in Keyser, West Virginia and went on to graduated from the University of Maryland.
He married Margaret "Jane" Miller December 20, 1947 in New Jersey.
He lived in Northern California for a few years during his early marriage and then moved back to Morristown, New Jersey.
Marsh suffered a fatal heart attack during a business meeting.
Marsh was one of the founding members of the Unitarian Fellowship along with his wife.
He was survived by his wife;and young family: daughters Gwen and Pamela; sons Dean and Thomas.
Marsh's parents preceded him in death and he also had three brothers survining him. John B., Lonaconing, Md.; Earl Price , Sunland, Ca.; and Frederick D., Cumberland, Md.
Internment took place at the United Methodist Church Cemetery, Succasunna, Morris County, New Jersey, USA.
