Wendell Page, 84, of Flagstaff Arizona died Saturday December 3, 2011 at his home. Wendell was born in Good Luck, KY on July 2, 1927 to Benjamin and Amy Page. He was the oldest of eight children. He grew up in Indianapolis IN and moved to Flagstaff in 1968. He married Margie Warfield on June 25, 1949 in Cannelburg, Indiana. Wendell worked at Uniroyal in Indianapolis and retired to move to Flagstaff where he worked for Northern Arizona University and Arizona Adjustment Agency before establishing his own adjustment agency.

He and Margie lived briefly in Show Low AZ where Wendell established the Page Adjusting Agency. They returned to Flagstaff where he purchased a Frontier Adjustment Agency franchise which he ran for many years. Wendell loved hunting, fishing, and traveling. He and his wife traveled to each of the 50 states and 13 foreign countries. Wendell was a member of the American Legion Post #3 in Flagstaff. Wendell served in the 3rd Infantry Division, US Army, in the European theater just after World War II.

Wendell is survived by his three children: Debbie Sloan of Las Vegas NV, M. Ellen Leetch ( Mrs. Richard) of North Pole AK and W. Grover Page (Celeste) of Flagstaff AZ; 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and one brother: James Page of Indiana.

He was predeceased by his wife, Margie Page, of Flagstaff and his son Samuel Isaac Page of Indianapolis, IN, and six siblings.

Services will be at Norvel Owens Mortuary, 914 E. Route 66, Flagstaff AZ on December 10th at 2:00 p.m. He will be buried in the veterans section of Citizens Cemetery, Flagstaff AZ.
