Last rites for E. H. Williams, 57, who died at his home on Tolbert following an eighteen month illness, were held from the Methodist Church of Tolbert yesterday afternoon. Pastor W. B. Gilliam, pastor of the church, officiated. Interment was in the Tolbert cemetery. Underwood Funeral Home of Vernon was in charge of the arrangements.
Active pallbearers were G. L. Ross, H. C. Upchurch, Buford McDougal, Oscar Ivey, C. E. Boone and Leslie Page.
Mr. Williams had resided in Tolbert for three years, moving to Wilbarger County from Hill County. He was born in Texas. Survivors include his wife (Zula M. Harris).
