Henry & Mary Ann lived in Zavalla, TX. my Grand Father Henry was cutting down a tree and became very ill his blood pressure went very high the doctor was called but im sad to say he died that day,on Feb.-9-1889 at age 37.
Mary Ann lived another 51 years after Henry and she died, in 1940 after Grand Mother Mary Ann's funeral there daughter Ella Carnes and her Daughter went out in the woods to the now abandoned Cemetery in Huntington and moved her Dad Henrys Head Stone and placed it in the Huntington Cemetery beside his beloved Mary Ann and later there Son Henry Jr. was buried on the other side of his Dad.
This was wrote by Carol Ann who is there G.G. Grand Daughter the story about moving Grandad's Headstone was told to me by my Cousin who was a small Child at the time.
I found this old Cemetery in 2013 where Grand Dad and 3 others are believed to be buried only one has a marker, she is Elizabeth White not sure who she was but most likey a friend of our family.
