Funeral Services Here Wednesday for Mrs. Selma Heye

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Seydler funeral home for Mrs. Selma Mueller Heye, who died at her home in Victoria Monday, Oct. 3, at 2 p.m.
A service will also be held in Victoria at the McCabe-Carruth funeral home Wednesday at 10 a.m., after which the cortege will leave for Gonzales arriving here about noon. The Rev. J. C. Felder, pastor of the Lutheran church, Victoria, will be in charge of the services and will be assisted by the Rev. William Loeske, pastor of the First Evangelican Lutheran church of Gonzales.
Born Nov. 28, 1879 at Bauersville, Lavaca county and Gonzales, coming here after her marriage to D. W. Heye Oct. 22, 1899 and moving from here to Victoria after the death of her husband on Oct. 28, 1940.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Gehla Coons and Miss Evelyn Heye, both of Victoria, and two sons, Oscar of Waco and Marvin of San Diego, Cal.; three brothers, Edie Mueller of Flatonia, Arnold Mueller of Yoakum, and William Mueller of Sugarland; and five grandchildren.
A member of long standing in the Lutheran church, she will be buried beside her husband, D. W. Heye, in the IOOF cemetery here in Gonzales.
Pallbearers will be E. L. Hax, William Offer, Ed Wagner, Alfred Post, all of Victoria, R. N. Stringer of Houston and V. L. Coons of Gonzales.
