Obituary Gonzales Inquirer Feb. 10, 1985

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 4 p.m. from the graveside in the Masonic cemetery for Oscar W. Heye of Pasadena, who died Sunday, February 10, in a Houston hospital.
Dr. Berry Landrum will conduct a service at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist church of Pasadena prior to the burial here.
Mr. Heye was born in Gonzales on December 30, 2900, the son of D. W. and Selma Mueller Heye. On June 24, 1925, he and Annie Laura Morrison were married. She preceded him in death on October 7, 1981.
He graduated from the local high school in 1919 and from the University of Texas at Austin in 1924 where he was a member of the Longhorn Band. He was a retired engineer with Texaco and made his home in Pasadena, and was also a deacon in the First Baptist Church of Pasadena.
Seydler-Hill Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
