Esther Anderson

Funeral services for Mrs. Esther P. Anderson, 87, were held this afternoon from Bethesda Lutheran Church in Strandquist. She died Saturday morning [September 22, 1979] at Karlstad Memorial Hospital. Burial was made in Hagland Church Cemetery of rural Strandquist.

Esther Isaacson was born May 11, 1892 in Sweden. She moved with her parents to rural Strandquist where she grew up and was educated. She married Martin Anderson November 14, 1916.

They lived in LeRoy, MN and then farmed near Strandquist. From 1950 to 1956, they lived in Longview, Washington and the returned to Strandquist. Her husband died December, 1966 and she entered Karlstad Nursing Center in July, 1978. She was a member of Bethesda Lutheran Church.

Survivors include four sons, 1 sister, 1 brother, 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
