Leonard Martin Anderson

Leonard M. Anderson, 74, of Longview died November 28, 1998 in a local nursing home.

He was born September 26, 1924 in Strandquist, Minnesota to Martin and Esther (Isaacson) Anderson and lived in Longview, Washington for 47 years.

Mr. Anderson retired from Longview Fibre Company after 35 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, shooting pool, traveling and gardening.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, a son, two stepsons, a daughter, a stepdaughter, two brothers, 13 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers Earl and Warren Anderson.

A graveside service will be held at 1 PM Tuesday at Longview Memorial Park with Chaplain Lyle Prather officiating. A reception will follow at the Longview Masonic Lodge. Viewing hours were scheduled from noon to 5 PM today and 10 AM to noon Tuesday at Steele Chapel.
