Funeral services for Frank Schema, who passed away January 10, were held at the Immaculate Conception church at 10 a. m. January 12. The Very Rev. John P. Foley officated at the solemn requiem high mass, assisted by the Rev. Henry LeMay and the Rev. Robert Dillon. The deceased was born in Austria, and came to the United States in 1882, settling in Chicago, Ill. In 1882 he was married to Theresa Chatt, and they moved to Minnesota in 1887, taking up residence in Shieldsville township. He resided there until 1900, when he moved to Walcott. In 1926 he moved to Faribault, where he resided with his son, Frank, until the time of his death. Mr. Schema was preceded in death by his wife, who died in 1928, and by two sons who died in infancy. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Julius DeCoux, Faribault; five sons, Anton, John, Charley and Frank, all of Faribault, and Theodore of Minneapolis; two sisters, Mrs. J. Salek of Chicago, Illinois, and Mrs. Theresa Kircher of Indianola, Nebraska; and one brother, John Schema of Chicago. Attending the funeral services from away were: Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Schema and Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Kane of Minneapolis; John Schema, Helen Schema, and Mrs. John Nemec of Chiago; and Mr. and Mrs. John Maxa and Mr. and Mrs. Nerud of Montgomery.
