Visitation is 5 to 7:30 p.m. today at Stricklin-King Funeral Home and 9:30-11 a.m. Sat. at Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church in Yazoo County with burial in Shiloh Cemetery in Yazoo County. Rev.Louis Smith will be officiating. Mrs.Boatner was born Oct. 31,1927 to William C. Pierce and Ethel Wilkinson in Yazoo County. She was preceded in death by her parents; her spouse, Otis William Boatner; sister, Carllee Medley and brothers Layton Pierce and Malcolm Pierce. Survivors include sons; Pierce Boatner and wife Nanci, Jimmy Boatner and wife, Cindy, Howard Boatner and wife Cindy and Timmy Boatner and wife Glynda; all of Benton; sisters, Marrian Gregory of Yazoo City and Esther Martin of Bude; brother Charles Pierce of Canton, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
