Norman Bidlingmaier, 71, of Jesup, GA, died Saturday, March 31, 2012, in Candler Hospital in Savannah, GA, after an extended illness.

The Wisconsin native had lived in Wayne Co., GA, for 51 years, he was a member of the Screven First Baptist Church and the Harold Delk Sunday School Class. He was a retired firefighter for the City of Jesup after 34 years of service, a U. S. Army Veteran and was a driver for Hendrix Hauling Trucking Company.

He was predeceased by his wife: Doris Gibbs Bidlingmaier and great-grandson: Aiden Eli Withrow.

Survivors are 3 daughters: Tina Bidlingmaier of Jesup, GA, Vicky (Melvin) Boyette of Screven, GA, Terrie (James) Napier, Jr. of Atlanta, GA, 7 grandchildren: April Boyette, Haley Boyette, Kelly Boyette, Rance (Candace) Boyette, Dustin Withrow, Brandon Withrow, and Maddie Withrow, 3 great-grandchildren: Breyden Middleton, Hillary Crowe, Gage Lowder, 2 sisters: Ruth (Ed) Enzinger of Rockford, IL, Frieda (Carl) Leddicoat of Monroe, WI, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 P. M. Tuesday, April 3, 2012, from the Screven First Baptist Church with Dr. Brad Ellington, Melvin Boyette, and Harold Delk officiating with the presentation of the American Flag by the American Legion Post #311.

Interment will be in the Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery with Firefighter honors.

Active pallbearers will be: Rance Boyette, Brandon Withrow, Dustin Withrow, Keith Boyd, Clifton Taylor, and Samuel Carr. Honorary pallbearers will be: Harold Delk Sunday School Class of Screven First Baptist Church, Wayne County active and retired Firefighters and Emergency Personnel.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 P. M. Monday from the funeral home.
