MRS. RITA CRONAN MCMANUS

 

Funeral services were-held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church at 12 p.m. Monday, May 27, 1996 for Mrs. Rita Cronan McManus, 73, with burial following In St. Louis Cemetery. Mrs. McManus, a resident of Eunice, died at 11:40 a.m. Friday, May 24. 1996 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette, after a short illness. Mrs. McManus was a retired Highland Elementary cafeteria employee.

 

Survivors include six sons, Samuel A. McManus, Floyd B. McManus and Robert P. McManus all of Eunice. John Lawrence McManus of Galveston. Tx., William E. McManus of Baton Rouge and Rev. Thomas H. McManus of Pembroke Dock, Wales. United Kingdom; one daughter, Ms. Eleanor F. McManus of Eunice; one brother, Robert Cronan of Kinder; two sisters. Mrs. Eugene (Rosemary) Hamilton of Kinder and Mrs. Leroy (Joetta) Guillory of Lake Charles and 12 grandchildren.

 

Mrs. McManus was preceded in death by her husband. Aaron McManus and one son, Shelton S. McManus. Ardoin's Funeral Home of Eunice was in charge of arrangements.
