Card of Thanks
We the undersigned, desire to thank Post O'Connor, of Scriba, the Ladies Relief Corps and all the friends, both in the city and country who so kindly assisted us in our late bereavement, the sickness and death of our brother, Mr. Irvin Mattison.
The deceased was a veteran of the ware. He enlisted in 1862, was in several battles and finally was severely wounded. The ball entered the body just below the ribs, and after nearly thirty years completed it's work, as he succumbed to the destroyer, death, and passed from this land of strife to the land of peace.
Respectfully,
Mr. and Mrs. F.M. Drury.
