Daniel Rowland married Elizabeth Rinehart the daughter of David Rinehart and Catharine (wolf). They farmed near present day Chewsville, on the Kieffer Funk Road, Washington County, MD.
They had the following Children:
(1.) Catharine Rowland died young.
(2.) Daniel Rowland died young.
(3.) Frances Marion Rowland married Jacob Schnelby secondly Ganiel Huyett Stonebraker.
(4.) Mary Elizabeth Rowland married Philip H. Funk.
(5.) David Rowland married Elizabeth Virginia Spesard, and removed to Iowa.
(6.) Joseph Rowland died young.
(7.) Jacob Rowland b.1781- d.1820 twin of John S. Rowland married Christianna McKee.
(8.) Rev. John S. Rowland b.1781-d.1863 twin
(9.) Jonas H. Rowland married Cattie U. Huyett.
