From 1906 until his death in 1937, Rev. Boley served at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Dell Rapids, Minnehaha County, South Dakota. He died in St. Mary's rectory on January 5, 1937 after an extended illness.
He was survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. F.V. (Mary) Ebig of Cresson, Mrs. Howard (Lucy) Warner of Altoona; Mrs. Ollie V. (Theresa) Weakland of Johnstown, Alphonsus, Frank and Nelson Boley, all of Loretto, and Mrs. Walter (Edna) Kirsch of Spangler.
Rev. Boley's body was interred in St. Michael's cemetary on January 12, 1937. He is buried next to his parents.
