Formerly of Front Street, Cresson, died unexpectedly Tuesday in the VA Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. He was born Jan. 26,1897, in Loretto, PA son of Joseph and Cecelia (Hertzog) Boley. Surviving are six children, Joseph of Gallitzin, Mrs. Anna Marie Melhorn of Little Rock, Ark., Mrs. Ella Mae Chaney and Robert of Washington, D.C., James of Arlington, VA., and Eugene, in the Army at Ft. Sill, Okla., 12 grandchildren an a brother and two sisters, Frank of Loretto, Mrs. Walter Kirsch of Spangler and Mrs. Ollie Weakland of Johnstown. Mr. Boley was a World War I veteran and a member of the American Legion Post and St. Michael's Catholic Church in Loretto. Friends are being received in the Conrad-Lenz Funeral Home, Gallitzin.
