Elaine retired from the Procurement Division at Hill Air Force Base where she met her husband of 65 years. She enjoyed camping, boating and trout fishing with her family. She enjoyed crocheting and was a master at crossword puzzles.
She was a compassionate, strong willed woman with quick-witted humor. She was loving, supportive and generous to her family and friends.
Elaine is survived by her husband Ivan, son Gerald (Mary Ann) Thompson, daughters, Connie (Ronald) Phillips, Vicki Meek, 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held at Leavitt's Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden; on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Family will greet friends prior to services from 10:00~10:45 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society are suggested.
Interment Leavitt's Aultorest Memorial Park.
