For example, in the NY State Census of 1865, Kirkham is found living with his sister Nancy (Beebe) & brother-in-lay Timothy H Hayes. Kirkham & Nancy's mother Jerusha (Brown) Beebe was also living with them:

Kirkham was married twice, 1st in 1877 to Louise (or Mary Louise) Hitchcock, and 2nd in 1897 to Beatrice (Forsdyke), the "Widow Till". Beatrice was the Widow of Thomas Till (d. before 1897). Thomas is thought to have been an Englishman, who died in India.

According to my cousin Timothy Dowling, Beatrice had a daughter from her 1st married. The info Timothy has provided to be about Beatrice is as follows:

I have split the last 2 children apart so I can discuss them a little.

If daughter Elizabeth was born in 1895, then she would have been the last child born of Loise (Mary Louise) (Hitchcock) Beebe. If Elizabeth was born in 1897 or 1898, then she would have been the 1st child born to Beatrice.

Joyce also speculated that Beatrice's son may have been Adopted by Kirkham (& Beatrice). Another possibility on Joyce's mind was that Donald may have been born with the Last Name of TILL. Since Joyce passed away in Dec. 2015, I can't discuss her speculations with her.
