A funeral for Lois Williamson of McMinnville will be held at 3:30 p.m. today in the McMinnville Assembly of God Church, with the Rev. Marion Ravan officiating. Interment will be in Red Wing Cemetery, Oak Grove, La.

Mrs. Williamson died Dec. 17, 2002, in her home. She was 81.

She was born Oct. 3, 1921, in Oak Grove, the daughter of John E. and Nancy A. Payne Bowman. She was raised and educated in Oak Grove, where she graduated from high school.

She and Arthur Williamson were married Sept. 7, 1942, in Tallulah, La.

She moved in 1946 to California, where she lived in Eureka and Downey. She moved back to Oak Grove in 1967. After her husband's death in 1969, she moved to Norwalk, Calif. She had lived in McMinnville since 1999.

Mrs. Williamson belonged to the McMinnville Assembly of God and Women Aglow. She was a Trinity Broadcasting Network partner. She loved gardening, arts and crafts, sewing and cooking.

Family members said she has relocated in heaven just inside the Eastern Gate, and her memory will be cherished.

Survivors include three daughters, Beverly Flores and Barbara Trimble, both of McMinnville, and Delores Mehan-Sharron of Honolulu; a son, Donald Williamson of Morgan City, La.; a sister, Kate Irby of Oak Grove; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by a son, Larry Williamson, in 1953 and a sister, Helen Reeves.
