Emma C. Teel, 81, Dodge City, died February 15, 2002 at Western Plains Regioinal Hospital, Dodge City.
She was born on December 23, 1920 at Rexford, the daughter of Orval Joseph and Elsie Olive Jackson Bartlett. A Dodge City resident since 1950, moving from Menlo. She was a cook and waitress in Dodge City for several years.
On July 2, 1952, she married Sonny Teel at Dodge City. He survives.
Other survivors include 2 sons, Allen Teel and wife Luann, Dodge City, and Jack Steiger and wife Leoma, Oakley; 1 daughter Jeannette Ward and husband Orla of Pratt; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. at Grace Community Church, Dodge City, with Rev. Kirk Larson presiding. Burial was in the Greencrest Memorial Gardens, Dodge City.
